This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on morningfold.co.uk.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember things, like If you're signed in to your member account, or what your preferences are.

What we use, in plain English

We use as few cookies as we reasonably can. Specifically:

These cookies are required for the site to work. They store no marketing or advertising data.

What we do NOT use

  • Advertising cookies
  • Third-party tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads conversion tags, no LinkedIn Insight Tag)
  • Cross-site behavioural tracking
  • Any cookies that build a profile of you across the web

Email tracking

Our newsletter uses tracking pixels and link redirects to count opens and clicks in aggregate. This is standard for any newsletter service and is described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of email tracking by setting your email client to block remote images.

Controlling cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. The exact steps differ:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site (e.g. Signing in to member content).
